Mercury
is an ICC licensed, fully insured courier that will deliver
your
product, materials, or information on a scheduled or emergency basis. We
transport envelopes or freight, whether dry or perishable, and provide
dedicated service to all points from Virginia to Massachusetts.
Mercury has freezer trucks and vans to transport your perishable or frozen food from your location directly to the delivery point. If your product demands a specific temperature, our trucks are dock height and equipped to keep your product as fresh at delivery as when it left your dock.
Mercury drivers are Mercury employees who treat your product and customers with the same status and first rate service that they receive from you. We deliver dock to dock, or make inside delivery, with professional courtesy.
Our clients include publishers, printers, graphic artists, lawyers, title companies, machine shops, food brokers, and anyone else that need delivery now. We specialize in home health care, medical and hospital delivery and pickup work. Drivers receive extensive training concerning OSHA and JCAHO standards and precautions.
Unlike most couriers, we do not use independent contractors. All of our drivers are employees and are covered by commercial vehicle and Workman's Comp Insurance. They wear photo ID, carry pagers and cell phones, and drive late model enclosed vehicles.
